It’s really hard to narrow it down to just ten classic wedding songs so rather than this being a top ten list, these songs are more of a ten of the best. Each song seems to please both male and female and younger and older guests every time I play them. Enjoy. September by Earth, Wind & Fire - This song never fails to put more people on the dance floor. Never Too Much by Luther Vandross - A thousand plays of this song is never too much. Ain’t No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell - Always a really popular song to play. Together In Electric Dreams by The Human League - It’s always nice to see newlyweds singing ‘We’ll always be together…” Wanna Be Startin’ Something by Michael Jackson - MJ had to go on the list but it was hard to choose one song! Teardrops by Womack & Womack - I play this at almost every wedding and it always works. You Make My Dreams by Daryl Hall & John Oats - A perfect wedding song. I Wanna Be Your Lover by Prince - Spoilt for choice with Prince songs. I tend to play this one the most. Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac - Great beat and lyrics. A true classic. You Got The Love by Florence and the Machine - The Candi Staton version could have easily replaced this. Either version always go down well. Comments are closed.
